When I received my rolling pin it had an 1/2 gouge in it. You could tell it was shipped that way because there wasn't any tears in the plastic it was wrapped in and there were no dents are marks on the box it was in. Not only that but the rod running through it is obviously bent because the pin will not roll properly and it needs WD-40 real bad.Will not buy from this company again.

I should ahve gotten this review musch sooner, i bought these as spares/replacements for the ones i currently use, and i just stowed them upon delivery. However, i needed one to be put in use and i grabbed one of these, only to realise that they are just a huge waste of my resources. Firstly the handle was crooked, and the bearing was rolling loud, and the rolling shaft is lopsided. The result was a rolling pin that rolled like it was invilid. This is one of my greater disappointments having been a very regular and long standing amazon customer. Definitely would not be buying this again, and would not recommend it to anyone as well.

It arrived with one handle slightly bent but not enough for me to reject it. I bought it because it was supposed to be sealed bearings and washable. Nothing could be further from the truth. The first time it was lightly washed and rinsed (not immersed) it had enough water inside to drip out for two days. Then, while rolling one handle came off and continues to do so. The center shaft only has about 1/2 inch to connect with the handles which were merely glued on. I would return it if I could but I stupidly attempted to drill a hole through the handle and the shaft to attempt a better connection. It did not work so now I have an unusable object. I would say to anyone interested in this rolling pin to look elsewhere. This is not worth the frustration.
