I see absolutely no difference between this roller and the expensive ones I looked at in the local restaurant supply store. I've used it so far for pizza crust and cinnamon rolls (a very sticky dough recipe), and it has worked perfectly. Very smooth wood surface, and smooth rolling action, feels comfortable in the hand.

I go this pizza roller on October 6th. It works exactly as I expected it to. The metal appears to be rust resistant as it hasn't rusted yet and the wood is very smooth and has a nice, solid feel to it. I believe this item will last.

the wood is not sealed, which surprised me. don't like that aspect. handle needs to be longer to get good leverage that you need. works, but not as good as I would have liked.
