I love this product because it helps to measure your dough to the perfect thickness every time. All of my cookies bake more evenly and look much prettier because they are all the same thickness. I used to dread making sugar cookies (which are my absolute favorite cookie)until I bought this rolling pin. I LOVE my Smart Pin. It is truly my favorite kitchen gadget.

I just got this rolling pin. It is made of beautiful wood and I absolutely love it. I dinged it one star because I would like a couple of additional sizes. It comes with 1/8, 1/4 and 3/8. If the manufacturer was smart, they would make other sizes available, (ie 1/16, 3/16, 1/2) perhaps as a separate option. Also replacement o-rings. I tried to locate the manufacturer, but there is not enough info on the packaging.UPDATE:I got [ASIN:B0058VX11Q Casabella Silicone Rolling Pin Spacer Bands] to use in conjunction this rolling pin. As the rolling pin itself is only 2", I use them on the rings to give me many more options of thickness. Should have thought of this before I had my husband attempt to make me some additional sized rings. (LOL I haven't told him that I have another solution to my problem.) Now he just needs to do a 1/16" for crackers.Oops, one more star ding (4 to 3). I have run into one problem. As the rolling pin is too long for my kitchen drawers, I have been hanging it from a hook. The handles keep moving out. They haven't fallen off yet, hope they don't. Easy to push back into place, but annoying and questionable durability.
